This is a quick one but I just wanted everyone to understand what's going on and why your cards haven't been charged yet if you added add-ons through BackerKit.
I was unaware I had to set it to lock 48hrs prior to actually locking. So I did that yesterday which means they'll fully lock tomorrow evening.
There is also the issue that since the "no-color" edition of the playing card deck didn't hit the required goal for production. To make sure anyone who added it on doesn't get charged for it, I have to delete the item... which would seem simple but I honestly cannot figure out how to do it (I spent about an hour yesterday trying to figure it out without success) so I've gotten in touch with BackerKit to resolve the issue and make sure you won't get charged for it, they'll be back in office on Tuesday so we should have it resolved then.
I have a meeting Wednesday to set up EasyShip, so hopefully that all goes smoothly and we can get that going soon!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the New Year!
I thought I'd let you all know where we are at.
EasyShip is currently being set-up and we are also going with a fulfillment company. This means a few really good things!
- If you are located in one of the countries that had higher shipping cost estimates, shipping will be cheaper than the initial estimates! Yay!
- You will be able to choose from a few different shipping options, so you can choose to insure the package, what courier you prefer to go through, and you will have the option to select faster shipping methods if you wish. The shipping options are going to be a lot more customizable than when I was fulfilling everything myself.
- Probably the most exciting news; it means the delays have been cut back (with the exception of orders with signed decks as those still have to ship to me first). Since the fulfillment center is in the same city as the manufacturers, the decks will be going directly there instead of having to cross an ocean to get in my hands for me to ship. I don't have dates on exactly how much earlier this means they will ship to you - I will let you all know as soon as that is all solidified.
- Lastly, this lowers the over-all carbon emissions caused by shipping. Which is wonderful.
Thank you for your patience with me as I figure out all the logistics, it has been a journey figuring out the best system to get these into your hands as economically as possible, as fast as possible, and, of course, while making sure everything would get to you in a way where things are packaged safely and without errors.
Hopefully, this is all set up within a week or two. I want to make sure it's not rushed and everything is set up perfectly so we don't run into any more issues like we did with the BackerKit surveys. You will be notified as soon as it's live and you'll be able to select your shipping options.
If you have NOT filled out your BACKERKIT survey - please do so ASAP! I need you to select your options. If you have lost the link, you can recover your survey HERE.
If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out and we will get you sorted. It is super important you do this as this is how I know which deck edition you want, and how I get your shipping address! I can't send you anything without your address.
Updates on production;
- The Playing Cards are DONE. They are shipping to the fulfillment center very soon. The ones that are being signed are on their way to me and I'll be posting some photos and videos of them as soon as they are in my hands!
- Holographic prints are in my hands - I am packing them into sleeves with backings and they will be on their way to the fulfillment center soon.
- Archival prints are currently on their way to me for me to sign, pack, and send to the fulfillment center.
- Stickers are on their way to the fulfillment center.
Pre-Orders CLOSE on SATURDAY JANUARY 15th!
Your cards will be charged on SUNDAY JANUARY 16th.
Lastly I want to say THANK YOU all so much for being so understanding on my last update. I am so excited to get these to you and we are getting SO CLOSE!

I know it has been a bit since I posted an update - I would like to thank you for your patience, there have been some things that happened in my personal life, I won't go into details as this isn't the place for it, but it has kept me away from the project for a couple weeks as I processed these things, I hope you can understand.
Alright - now onto the updates;
Shipping!! I know, this is the number one question I have been receiving, and as always I want to be totally transparent with you all.
I thought we had it totally figured out but was then told I should work with EasyShip as this will give everyone multiple courier options so you'll be able to select the cheapest and/or most reliable option for your destination. Working with EasyShip does means the speed at which shipping gets set up is partially dependent on email correspondences so I'm just waiting on some replies to get everything finalized with that set-up.
I'm as eager as all of you to have this ready to go - to be totally honest with you all it's been the hardest part for me to navigate because I want to give you guys the best prices and options I can.
Postcards are in my possession, prints and all the packing supplies are on their way to me right now.
Everything else is still in production.
Playing Cards, stickers, and pins are still on time. However, tarot cards and the pocket decks are delayed. My manufacturers had guaranteed a 30-40 day production time, but they had underestimated the scale of the project and are running behind, especially with the holiday craze. I have pushed to try and have production sped up, but I also really don't want a quality compromise. I found out about this delay yesterday and have just been trying to find the words to let you all know.
So currently, if your pledge did not include tarot or pocket decks, we are still on schedule for February shipments.
If your pledge did have a tarot and/or pocket deck, we are now looking at end of March/start of April. I'm not happy about it, so I don't expect you to be either. However I appreciate your understanding and patience at this time. As always, I'm doing my best to deliver what I promised and I hope you can see that. If there is anything within my power to get these to you sooner it will be done, I am investigating the shipping options from the manufacturer to me to see if we can find something faster than the initial courier they were sending through.
If your address needs to be changed at any time due to the delay, that's no problem at all to update.
Payment Information with BackerKit.
Again, something I'm not super happy about, BackerKit reached out to me to let me know something messed up in the system and they didn't properly collect some of your shipping and payments. Because of this, they are emailing you to correct this if you were one of the backers this happened to.
I'm just as frustrated as all of you about these errors we have encountered with the system, I really wish it was in my power to make everything run smoothly, but I just have to do the best I can based on what is in my control.
Due to these payment issues and delays, I'm going to extend the pre-orders to January 15th so we can make sure everything is sorted as BackerKit and EasyShip will both be out of office for the holidays. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, it seems like the best way to avoid any errors and will not affect shipping dates in any way.
This has been and continues to be an amazing learning and growing experience and I can't thank you all enough for sticking it out with me as these logistics all get navigated and sorted.
To end on a more positive note, I do want to say the products themselves are all looking absolutely gorgeous and I'm really excited about the quality of what is being created. I will also continue to keep you all updated as I receive more information... and photos!
I'd also like to give a shout-out to my amazing assistant Kendra! She has been taking care of most of your questions since the campaign ended, keeping me sane, and allowing me to focus on the actual production end of things.

I know it has been a while since I posted an update so I just wanted to let you all know we are hard at work on our end! Everything is currently still in production, I will be posting updates as I receive them from my manufacturers.

If you have questions about your survey or anything else, please send them as a DM. It's the best place to get ahold of me. I don't always see every comment, but I do make sure every DM gets read.
I did get some additional help to answer messages since it was getting to be a lot to handle it all myself and I want to provide the best customer service I can, so queries sent there get handled a lot faster as well than the comment section since there's an additional person checking those!
