We plan to wait until closer to fulfillment to enter & charge you for physical items purchased on the pre-order store to get the most accurate/fair fulfillment prices. We will update backers after entering those shipping prices & before we charge you in BackerKit.

Waiting on EasyShip

Hello Everyone,

We just wanted to post a quick update to let you know that we are just waiting on EasyShip to initiate the refunds at this point. All items have safely arrived in Corona from both facilities and we are just finishing with the receiving process now. 

On our end, we will be ready to start shipping by Friday (or sooner) but we have to wait for EasyShip to initiate refunds before we can send out the BackerKit email notifications to make sure those who already paid get their refund before we collect payment. 

Once EasyShip initiates refunds, we will post an update on when to expect that BackerKit email notification and we will let you know when to expect the charge to be retrieved from your payment method on file with BackerKit. Once your payment has been collected, your items will ship. 

For those of you whose cards have expired, I am still waiting on an answer from EasyShip about that as well but we will include it in the next post when we have that information available.

BackerKit Address and Payment Method Answers

Hello everyone!


I noticed some things weren't made clear in the last update that were important to communicate with you all so I'm just jumping on to make sure everything is clear!


The BackerKit emails have not been sent out yet and will not be sent out until we receive confirmation from EasyShip that those who already paid for shipping have been refunded. Our contact at EasyShip said that the refunds should occur early next week. Once we have been provided with confirmation that refunds have been issued, we will wait a few days before sending the BackerKit email notification to allow time for you to be refunded before your BackerKit shipping payment is taken out. When those emails are sent out, we will post a Kickstarter update to let you know!


When you log in to your BackerKit account at the moment, you might see that your personal details are "locked" and you can't make changes. You don't need to worry about this or reach out to us or to BackerKit to make those changes right now. Once you receive your email notice that payment for shipping will be collected, you will have the opportunity within the email itself to change your address and payment method. You will also be given ample notice that the payment will be withdrawn.


If you have any other questions that aren't answered here, feel free to ask below or in the comment section of this campaign. If you have questions about your BackerKit account specifically, please reach out to BackerKit support at [email protected] because we don't have control of your accounts or password information.

P.S. Our LAX freight arrived in Corona and our HKG items were scheduled to get on a plane this morning. I will receive confirmation of that this evening and will post it in the comment section of the campaign!

Hello Everyone,


First of all, it is very important that ANYONE who has not received their orders yet, read this update!!


It has taken a while to update you all as I have been exploring all the possible options to figure out the best course of action we could take. There are so many moving parts to this project and I needed to find a solution and system that would allow for the smoothest transition and fulfillment process possible based on the mess we were in. I’m not going to lie - it was a mission and one heck of a puzzle, I spent hours upon hours in meetings and doing more calculations than I ever thought my brain was capable of handling. But the efforts have paid off and, although the solution we came to does require quite a few changes, it creates a system that will allow us to finally fulfill all your orders with maximum efficiency! The good news is that as we post this, this system is already in place and the plan is already in motion. 


I cannot express the sense of relief that we have over here! I am so happy AND FREAKIN EXCITED to tell you that ALL of our goods are officially in transit to our new fulfillment center in Corona, California. 


Since our HKG and LAX fulfillment centers were operated by the same company, in order to get out of our contract with the Hong Kong location we also had to end the one with LAX, meaning we had to move to an entirely new fulfillment company. I was hesitant to leave the LAX location at first, but we found an absolutely incredible company that is so thorough and communicative that our minds are well and truly BLOWN! It’s a breath of fresh air to finally be working with a fulfillment center that has our best interest in mind. These people had an account set up for me with all information we needed integrated into the platform within 48 hours. We are literally just waiting for our goods to arrive at this point.


So… Where is everything?


Our LAX goods were picked up yesterday with expected delivery to Corona today and our HKG goods that were being held are out of the HKG fulfillment center and are with their freight carrier being prepared for their flight overseas tomorrow. The expected date of delivery for these goods is Oct 30th.


Once the goods arrive at the fulfillment center, it will take up to 3 business days for receiving and processing. We expect to start shipping orders mid-November… or possibly even sooner!


If you would like to follow the shipments, you can! I have attached the QR code from the Bill of Lading that we received from LAX at the bottom of this post, please give it 24 hours to update!


For the flight from China to LAX, I have only been given the following information;

KD7555/ETD 28 Oct 20:15 /ETA: 30 Oct 01:10 (Beijing Time)


I haven’t been given a website where I can track the flight just yet but when I do, I will get Candace to post it to the most recent comment so keep your eyes peeled! We could have waited until this information showed up but we didn’t want to keep you waiting any longer than you have!


The signed tarot decks are still here with me at the moment but we are arranging shipment to Corona next week. After that, they will have everything to fulfill everyone’s order. 


Address changes


Please go into your BackerKit account and ensure that your address and contact information is up to date. You should be able to update it yourself moving forward, but if you need help, you can either reach out to BackerKit Support or shoot us a message at [email protected]

If you can't access your address or card information to make changes or it comes up as "locked" at the moment, don't worry! You will be able to make these changes through the email that is sent out. 


***Whether you have paid for shipping or not, please read below!***


My team and myself have had several discussions these past few weeks with BackerKit, EasyShip, our new fulfillment center and other seasoned professionals in the freight business to figure out the quickest and most efficient way to move forward and we have come to the conclusion that leaving EasyShip and collecting payment via BackerKit will be the most efficient way to move forward with minimal issues. 


This is due to the number of logistical errors we are facing with Easyship - moving back to BackerKit will ensure minimal error. It’s sad to say, but with the number of errors and issues we were having, this was one of those situations where leaving that system behind and starting over fresh was the most efficient course of action. 


What does this mean?!


Everyone who has paid for their shipping and has not received their items is going to be refunded what they have already paid for shipping. This will take care of those who haven’t received their stock who were overcharged in that first batch of links as well. Our contact at EasyShip has informed us that they will begin initiating refunds back on your initial payment method next week. Keep reading to see how shipping will be collected moving forward.


Shipping payments will be processed through BACKERKIT. 

***PLEASE READ - THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT***


We will be collecting EVERYONE’s shipping payment through BackerKit. BackerKit has been extremely helpful throughout this whole process and after speaking with them again yesterday, collecting shipping with them really does make the most sense - it’s the fastest and easiest way we can make that happen.


You will be receiving an automated email soon. This email will let you know when your shipping payment will be withdrawn from the payment method that you have on file with BackerKit as well as how much shipping will cost. Our shipping prices through this new fulfillment center are the same or less than the initial center we were using so there shouldn’t be any surprises there. If you need to change your credit card information before that amount is withdrawn, you will be able to do so through that email.


If you cannot pay and need to remove your payment information from BackerKit for whatever reason (I know things can come up and you might not be ready to pay for your shipping at the same time as we plan to collect payments), you will need to contact BackerKit support, we don’t have any control over that. Whenever you ARE ready to make that payment, you’ll be able to add your card back on BackerKit and you will be charged within a few days of adding it back.


Again, If you can't access your address or card information to make changes or it comes up as "locked" at the moment, don't worry! You will be able to make these changes through the email that is sent out. 


Those who have requested refunds;


You will be removed from BackerKit to ensure that you don’t receive your items and aren’t charged for shipping. Once the campaign has completed, we will reach out to you. We are nearly there. Just hold on tight. I promise we haven’t forgotten you and we will take care of you as soon as we can.

I walked into this project as an artist who had never had to manage more than a few orders out of my house, and I’m walking out with an insane amount of new knowledge on business, scaling, international affairs, legalities, and so much more. I know it has been a ride to be on this learning curb with me, but I appreciate you believing in me right from the start. 


I know some of you lost faith in me through all of this - understandably so - I do hope that at least a little bit of that faith can be restored when your deck finally makes its way into your hands where it belongs. Either way, I appreciate  you being here.



I had no idea the depth of what I was getting myself into so once again, thanks for sticking it out with me as my team and I navigated this insane puzzle.

We've been hard at work in the background trying to figure out the best plan of action and that plan of action has been set in motion.

I can't share all of the information with you just yet because we have to clarify a few things first but you can expect an update next week and that update will include GOOD NEWS that you will not want to miss! We're just about there, watch this space!
