Hello wonderful humans!
By popular demand, I'm excited to be announcing this one! I have added another pin!
The image on the left is the colours it will be in daylight, and on the right is the parts that will glow in the dark! The metal of the pin will be ano (multicolour) and they will measure 2.25" in height.
These will only be available during this campaign - how many are pledged for is how many will be made. They'll be numbered on the back based on that number.
I have collaborated with these pin makers before and they are by far the highest quality pins I've ever seen - so I'm really excited to be collaborating with them again. The mock-ups do not do justice to what the final product will look like. (I'll try to post a video of a pin they've made of my art soon so you can see what kind of quality you can expect)
Anyways, I hope you like them and are as excited about these as I am!

Hello again wonderful people,
So as some of you may have already noticed - the Playing Cards GOLD EDITION has been UNLOCKED!
Check my last update for more information on how the Gold Edition will work as I broke it all down in detail there :)
Also surprise SURPRISE!
I have a few extra add-ons that I am adding as the campaign progresses just for fun that aren't a part of our stretch goals. Today I'm announcing POSTCARDS! I asked my Instagram community what they would like to see as an add-on and this was one of the more popular responses.
These are available as a set of 3 as an add-on.
Stay tuned, I have one more surprise add-on on the way, I'll be announcing it next week!
We are also getting close to unlocking the pocket tarot deck so I'll be sharing all the details on that once it's unlocked.

GOLD Edition + Holographic Prints

Hi everyone!
We have UNLOCKED the TAROT GOLD EDITION and are getting close to unlocking the PLAYING CARDS GOLD EDITION so I wanted to give you a little more info on those and how it will work!
First off, let me show you what the gold will look like. I do not have actual samples of the Octopus Tarot Gold Edition but I had my printer send me some videos of what the gold gilding looks like;
I do not have examples from LPCC for the playing cards but you can expect the same shade of gold.
What does GOLD EDITION mean?
All of the currently holographic details will be GOLD instead. So the cards will be gilded gold (the edges), the detailing on the front and backs of cards will be gold as well, and the stamping on the boxes will be gold. For the tarot deck, the guidebook will also have gold stamping on the front and back.
What you need to do if you want a GOLD Edition deck;
If you want a GOLD deck instead of a HOLOGRAPHIC deck you already pledged for - you don't need to do anything for now. At the end of the campaign, you will receive an email asking you if you would like the GOLD EDITION or HOLOGRAPHIC EDITION and you can select it then.
If you would like to ADD a GOLD deck to your pledge in addition to what you have already pledged for - Add an extra deck as an add-on and you will receive an email at the end of the campaign where you can select how many decks of which edition you would like.
For every individual deck you pledge for you will be given the option of GOLD or HOLOGRAPHIC.
When the emails go out at the end of the campaign for you to select what deck you want, you will have one week to respond or you will automatically receive a holographic edition. So make sure you open your emails!
GOLD EDTION decks will only have one print run and will therefore be EXCLUSIVE to this campaign. They will not be available after.
I hope this makes sense to everyone - if you have questions about the gold edition do not hesitate to ask them. I am trying to make things as clear as possible to avoid confusion :)
One more thing I would like to share with you today is I finally received the Holographic Print samples! So here they are;
Holographic prints are available as an add-on :) They have been the whole time but I can finally show you what they look like.

Hello again everyone!
So first of all - I want to say thank you all so much for your patience and understanding as I navigate the playing card manufacturer switch. You have all been amazing and I am doing my absolute best to respond to all your feedback and create the best deck possible for you!
As I want to be fully transparent - I initially made the playing cards as a way to make the artwork accessible to people who weren't into tarot - the playing card collector world is totally new to me and I am learning as I go. So I thank you so much for bringing details to my attention and improving the deck, and again for your patience and understanding as I work through implementing your advice. The quality I am bringing you would not be possible without the feedback and support I have received. You have been a huge part of the creation of this deck.
For anyone who has been confused about the tarot - there are NO CHANGES to the TAROT deck. What is in the photos and videos is what it is.
Today I have a lot to reveal for you! We have the Clubs, the Jokers, and the full box (since you could only see the front in the initial mock-up).
The Jokers were voted for in my Instagram stories and these are our winners!
The box will be soft touch finish with holographic stamping;
Alright last but not least, let's talk about where we are at on stretch goals!!
We are SO CLOSE to unlocking the TAROT GOLD EDITION!! (just a bit over $500 away as I write this!)
We are good to go on the holographic stamping on the front of the playing cards. I'm adding that back early because I hear you and I know how important it is to you - and it is to me as well.
The campaign is doing so well and I just want you all to be happy above all else.
The PLAYING CARD GOLD EDITION unlocks at $70K CAD.
And I have decided to add a special stretch goal for the playing cards - I'll digitally colour all the court cards and jokers at $90K. I understand it's nice to have the court cards stand out more so this is my way of doing that. I'll keep the colouring subtle so it still matches the vibe of the deck.

Diamonds! & Updates on Playing Cards

Hello everyone,
Let's start with the reveal. Here are the Diamonds;
Thank you all so much for the feedback on yesterday's PLAYING CARD update (I confused some people yesterday - these updates do NOT apply to the tarot deck!).
We will be going with the viper finish, it was a VERY CLEAR favourite.
I got mixed feedback on the rest of the updates;
- The cutout idea on the box seemed to have very varied opinions so for now it will stay a holographic stamp.
- For the holographic foil on the front, it's just as important to me as it is to you to keep that feature. At the rate this campaign is going, I don't think we will have any issues bringing it back. I really just put it in the update as a "just in case". We have gotten this far entirely organically, and I have a marketing team starting early next week so I have no doubt we will get to the $60K mark necessary to make it happen. We still have 3 weeks to go and are almost at $50K as it is!
Please continue to leave your feedback, questions, and concerns. I am doing my absolute best to accommodate everyone as much as possible within whatever budget we have as the campaign grows.
